Pipe blasting systems are the ideal solution for industries that benefit from repurposing used pipes, such as oil and gas, construction, and chemical processing.  These automated machines completely remove dust and mill scale and create a surface profile that is ready for any coating application.

Roller conveyors are precisely configured to rotate pipes as they are fed through the blast chamber, ensuring the entire surface of all pipes is fully cleaned before exiting the chamber.  Additionally, our roller conveyors are built in modular sections to be added when blasting longer pipes and removed for shorter pipes.

Sensors are located at both the entrance and exit of the blast chamber to control the flow of media so abrasive blasting only occurs when pipe is present inside the chamber, thus saving costs on wear parts and extending the life of the machine.

As pipes travel through the 3/8” manganese steel blast chamber, they are blasted by abrasive shot propelled from a blast wheel that is positioned for optimal blast coverage (2 wheels are used for pipes over 12 inches in diameter).  Increased durability within the chamber is achieved with cabinet liner packages constructed of rubber, AR400 plate, manganese steel, or cast chrome alloy depending on your specific application.

Spent media is captured in a trough that runs the full length under the chamber and is transported to a bucket elevator via a specially configured auger to ensure all media is recycled.  Dust collection occurs at both the entrance and exit of the blast vestibule which keeps the facility clean and removes unwanted particles from the media stream.

Industry leading HMI controls provide the operator with the ability to adjust the process as needed as well as control the type of finish on the pipes.
